Delivery & Returns:

Delivery can be to any address as long the address at which your payment card is registered is also present on your order. All deliveries must be signed for (except items sent by post and which are small enough to be put through your letterbox). Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.

When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the appropriate delivery charge will be added automatically. You will always be able to see this charge before submitting your order.

All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability. Small parcels may be delivered via Royal Mail. Delivery is next working day subject to availability. However, delivery may take up to five working days.

The contents of your order and your delivery postcode area will determine which delivery services you will be offered. We do not deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses.

Delivery will be between the hours of 7am and 6pm; we are unable to confirm a time.

Japanese 4x4 Parts will select the most appropriate carrier for your goods. This means your delivery may arrive in more than one batch to ensure your order is transported in the best possible way.

Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and Japanese 4x4 Parts shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.

Postage:
You will only pay one delivery charge per order, which will be the highest depending on the contents of your order and your chosen delivery service. When you have added items to your shopping basket, the standard delivery charge for those products will be automatically applied to your order.

Warranty and Liability:

Subject to the condition set out below the Seller warrants that the Goods will correspond with their specification at the time of delivery and will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months* from the date of their initial use or 12 months* from delivery, or road use of 12,000* miles whichever is the first to expire. The Seller shall NOT be liable for any labor or associated claims should a product fail, warranty will however apply to any part or parts purchased by the buyer within the warranty period to include carriage to replace the original purchased goods.

All Non Genuine Electrical / Aftermarket items carry a 6 month warranty

1) the Seller shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, willful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow the Seller’s instructions (whether spoken or in writing), misuse or alteration or repair of the Goods without the Seller’s approval.

2) Goods must be checked for suitability and tolerance prior to fitting or preparation. No responsibility whatsoever is accepted for the fitment of incorrect parts. The responsibility is clearly with the purchaser/fitter to ensure the parts supplied are correct for the particular job. The Company is not responsible for any damage or consequential losses or cost resulting from the fitment of parts supplied.

The website shall always endeavor to provide the correct information, however, on occasions the images may not always depict the actual product and JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD reserve all rights to change a product for another that is fit for purpose.


Force Majeure:
Japanese 4x4 Parts shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

Returns:

Unwanted/ In-correctly ordered Goods

If you decide that you do not want any item which we have delivered, then provided that it is returned to us in its original and unused condition, not fitted in anyway and dispatched within 14 days of delivery unless otherwise agreed prior with JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD we will exchange it or offer a refund for the product. NO carriage will be refunded and a re-stock charge of 15% minimum will be applied subject JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD discretion. This also applies to any goods supplied correctly by JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD as ordered. However, if ordered in-correctly by the customer, the customer will be entitled to a product refund only, no carriage will be refunded and the customer is held responsible for the return of the goods JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD unless prior arrangements are made with JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD. Refunds will only be given once the goods have been returned in good order and in its original packaging.

No refund or return will be accepted on "specially ordered" parts that are a part ordered by JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD on behalf of the customer. These are not stocked items and therefore will not be accepted for a return or refund. Any goods listed as "stocked to order" will also NOT be eligible for any refunds, even if wanting to be returned before the 14 days, "Stocked to order" means specifically ordered for your purchase and therefore non-returnable.

No refund or return will be accepted on "Electrical or VOR item" that are supplied correctly by JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD.

4a. Defective Goods

If you purchase a product from us that are found to be faulty we will supply a replacement or arrange for a refund of the purchase price. To arrange the return of the defective goods please contact our office on 01923778551 or email info@japanese4x4parts.co.uk Our parcel carrier will arrange to collect the goods from you. Upon receipt of the product we will examine it or we may have to return it to the manufacturer for examination. We aim to dispatch a replacement product or refund your money within 14 days or a reasonable period.

The Company is not responsible for any damage or consequential losses or labor costs resulting from the fitment of parts supplied if found defective or otherwise.

Any consignment that is attempted delivery on a number of occasions and not collected from the local depot or not arranged to be re-delivered within the grace period, also if a parcel is refused upon delivery and returned to JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD, there will be a surcharged of £16.95+VAT per parcel that is returned to JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD.

4b. Defective Goods- overseas

If any goods are required to be replaced, for whatever reason, JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD will only deliver to the original address the goods were shipped to within the UK.
If shipped JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD outside the UK then it will be the customers’ responsibility to return the warranty component and arrange the carriage for the replacement part.
Any goods the customer has collected and shipped out of the UK and found either not to fit or be defective must be returned to JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD,  UK address by the customer for any warranty on the product for whatever reason.
JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD will not be held responsible for any carriage or transportation outside of the UK to bring back any defective part; this will be the sole responsibility of the customer without exception.
Warranty of any goods will only be applied to the UK and Channel isles.
Overseas customers whom purchase goods do so by agreeing to our Terms and Conditions without exception.

Damaged goods upon delivery can only be replaced providing the customer signs for the goods as being damaged, a claim can then be made against the couriers for the replacement. If the customer signs for the goods as received in "Good Order" (or alike), and the goods upon opening are found to be damaged then NO claim can be made against JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD  as they have been signed for as received in good order. All goods can simply be signed for as "Damaged" if you or the couriers do not have time or the facilities to check the goods; this is acceptable with JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD and our couriers and will cover you as the customer. In short please check the way you sign for the goods, this also includes the number of parcels being signed for.

Products are supplied with manufacturer’s standard warranties. Miss-use or the incorrect fitting of parts by customers will render such warranty/guarantee null and void.
Please note that no Chrome/Stainless product is covered under warranty if purchased from JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD for corrosion issues within any period of time. A customer that makes a purchase for any chrome / stainless product does so with this knowledge and agrees to these terms.

The customer must provide adequate paper work details received with the initial order, such as invoice number or Customer number in order for us to proceed with any claims. It is the responsibility of the customer and JAPANESE4X4 PARTS LTD to source and provide these details prior to any claims.



The goods should also be returned with their original box, packing and accessories.

If the return is due to missing or faulty parts then we will offer a full refund or replacement provided we are aware of this within 10 working days.

Any refund, which is due to a fault or other defect, will include a refund of the applicable delivery charge.

Cancellation of Orders:
You are able to cancel your order prior to shipping with no cost penalty being incurred and full credit of your account if monies have already been taken. You can cancel an order by following the links on the Japanese 4x4 Parts website, or by phoning us on 01923778551.

All orders taken before 3pm will be processed, and dispatched on the same day. Delivery transit time, depending on geographical area within UK approximately 24-72 hours.
